I would like other services from Purolator, Loomis or UPS other than standard service that comes up. How do I see my options?

Under each pricing there is a blue “View All Services” link – click the link to open a window of various service levels and options offered by the selected courier where you can make appropriate selections and process the shipment for completion or saving as per regular shipment flow.

Why does courier pricing such as Purolator, Loomis or UPS not show up for some shipments?

The most common reason courier pricing does not display for shipment inquiries is that courier pricing will only return for shipments weighing or rating as under 300 lbs. The second most common reason is that the origin or destination postal code as entered is invalid and it usually only takes an internet search to verify you have the correct postal codes.

I have completed a shipment and I need to make changes, what do I do?

Click on the history tab and find the appropriate shipment in the list of completed shipments. One-click buttons are located on the right side to View the shipment, Edit it, Cancel it or Reprint its documents. To change a shipment, click the Edit button, make the necessary changes, and go through the normal flow to either Complete the shipment or save the shipment. The shipment you changed will be updated with your edits, essentially cancelling the original one and replaced by the edit one. Edited shipments will have a “A” after the bill of lading number, meaning it has been Adjusted.

How long does it take a special request / special assistance reply?

We have team that works on these requests and our response times can very from 15 minutes to a few hours depending on the depth and details required of the shipment. Our team will check several options ensuring the service and the pricing is in order.

What kinds of shipments can I put through SMARTT Shipping?

The is a robust system that can encompass ALL shipments going throughout North America. From Courier, Full Load, Less Than Truckload to Flat Deck, You can ship out bound Prepaid, Collect , Third Party and Carrier billing you directly.

How many people can be on the system at once?

There can be unlimited people in a company that can be on at once

How secure is our customer list on your program?

Yes, your data is secure and encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This is the same level of encryption used by leading banks and government agencies. Your documents are also stored and encrypted at rest using AES – 256 bit encryption at our data centre in Denver, CO and is protected by malware detection programs, virus protections and daily backups.

Will there be back soliciting with your company to our customers that that are stored on the SMARTT server?

Answer is NO we do not back solicit our customers’, customers.
